General Information


Registration is in front of the Sheriff's Opportunity Store.  Look for the LED display.

Race packets, tee shirts and goody bags are NOT distributed early. 
They are distributed only race night starting at 9:30 pm.

Race night activities start at 9:30 pm.

•    This year we are using “chips” to electronically capture finishing time and place for the 5K and 10K runs.

    •    Age Groups have NOT changed.

    •    Plaques are awarded to the top five finishers in each age group.

•    The one mile run is the same as last year.

    •    The overall top five placers for both men and women will receive a plaque.

•    Each runner will receive a race envelope for each race entered.

     •    The 5K and 10K registration envelopes contain:

          •    The race bib for the given run.
          •    The race bib has a coupon to receive your tee shirt and goody bag.
          •    The chip that matches the race bib.
          •    Two pins to fasten the race bib to the FRONT of the shirt or pants.
          •    One plastic zip tie to fasten the chip to the SHOE.

      •    The One Mile registration envelope contains:

            •    The One Mile race bib.
            •    The race bib has a coupon to receive your tee shirt and goody bag.
            •    Two pins to fasten the race bib to the FRONT of the shirt or pants.

•    Extra pins and zip ties are available.

•    If you are participating in more than one race you will receive a registration envelope for each race.

•    If running both the 5K and 10K race put one chip on each shoe.  Both chips will be collected at the end of the 10K race.

•    $10.00 will be billed to the runner for chips not turned in.

•    Race Bibs go on the FRONT

Pre-registration check in


This year envelopes for pre-registered runners for all runs will be organized in alphabetical order.

   •    Registration envelopes will be alphabetical by last name.

   •    Look for the overhead sign for the correct line.

   •    As the evening progresses some lines will be consolidated.

   •    Individuals running in more than one run will have their envelopes banded together.

   •    Families are not banded together.  If picking up for other family members give those names too.

   •    LOOK at the envelope!  Confirm that the name, city, state, race, gender, and age are correct.

    •    If the spelling, age, gender, city, state are incorrect tell the volunteer.  They will get the information corrected.

    •    If the RUN is INCORRECT or you wish to change runs a new race number has to be assigned.
         A supervisor will help you.

   •    Changing runs

    •    Tell the volunteer.  A new number has to be assigned.  A supervisor will help you.

    •    Adding runs

    •    Tell the volunteer.  A new number has to be assigned.  A supervisor will help you. 
         A fee will be collected for the additional run.

Race night registration


Race night registration cards and pens will be on tables in front of race night sign up.

There are four registration lines; one each for the one mile and the 10K and two for the 5K.

Bring completed registration cards to the correct line.  If running multiple runs, pick the shortest line

Procedure

    •    Legibly and completely complete the registration form.
         Be courteous to others and save yourself time, have the registration complete before you get into line.

    •    It is ok to bring a completed registration.  This will save you time. 

    •    The volunteer will have to clean up illegible registrations.  This will take your time.

    •    Please make sure:

        •    You marked the correct run.

        •    Your Name is filled out completely.

        •    Your mailing address, with City and State is clear.

        •    Your Gender and Age are completed.

        •    You SIGNED and DATED the registration.

        •    Have your payment.

    •    After the registration is reviewed for completeness and receiving payment
         you will be given your registration envelope.
