The 2007 Midnight Run had 1653 registered runners. The 2008 Midnight Run had 1816 registered runners. The 2009 Midnight Run
had 2075 registered runners. The 2010 Midnight Run
had 1732 registered runners. (Rain all day. Clear and pleasant for the event.)
The 2011 Midnight Run
had 1953 registered runners.
(Rain during the evening. Clear and pleasant for the event.) The 2012 Midnight Run had 2507 registered runners.
The Runs: Map Each run is a separate event. You may participate in each run.
All runs start on Causeway Blvd along Causeway Shopping Center.
All runs head west along Causeway Blvd to its turnaround point then head back to the shopping center.
The Finish Line for all runs is in the Causeway Shopping Center Parking Lot.
The Midnight Run (10K) Course Certificate Number - FL09047EBM The Midnight Run starts at 12:15 a.m. Friday, July 4th 2014 Timing ends at 1:30 a.m. This run enters Honeymoon Island State Park. The 10K turnaround point is about 3/4 mile inside the park. Park entrance is 2.5 miles from the start. Entrance to the Park ends at 1:00 a.m. This run is challenging (humidity) and NOT for walkers.
The 5K Run Course Certificate Number - FL09029EBM The 5K run starts at 11:25 p.m. Thursday, July 3rd 2014 The 5K turnaround point is about 1/2 mile past the 1 Mile mark. About half way out the causeway. Timing ends at 12:10 a.m. Thursday morning. Walkers are allowed. Walkers must not impede other participants. 5K participants still on the course at the start of the 10K will be moved to the Pinellas Trail Honeymoon Island Spur. After the 10K runners have passed you may move back onto the course.
The One Mile Run/Walk The One Mile Run/Walk starts at 11:00 p.m. Thursday, July 3rd 2014 The 10K turnaround point is at Gary Circle West/5K water station Timing ends at 11:20 p.m.
The 5K and 10K runs use disposable chips.
The first 1000 preregistered 5K and 10K runs have a choice of Tech tees or 100% cotton tees.
All others will receive 100% cotton tees.
The One Mile Run/Walk will receive 100% cotton tees.
